Interprters’ Anatomy of a Civil Lawsuit – Anatomía de un Juicio Civil para Intérpretes Judiciales by Ramón M. del Villar, a Federally Certified Court Interpreter and Attorney at Law in Houston, TX.
The book is a soft cover, 94 pages, in two columns: left hand is English and right hand is Spanish. Excellently presented and very useful for all court interpreters. Cost $35.00, plus TX sales tax (if you live in TX) and shipping and handling.

Save the dates for JBC-OCAA Continuing Education Classes for Licensed Court Interpreters in 2017
Both classes will be held in a conference room at the Home2 Suites by Hilton on 20985 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77450 (281-398-3500). Exit I-10 at Westgreen (from both directions), go south ½ a block on Westgreen and the hotel is behind CVS.
If you're coming from out of town, it is a very nice place to stay.
Registration deadline with PayPal seven (7) days before each course, please. Personal checks must be received 10 days before each course. For additional information or questions, please call Alex Trabing at 281-944-9949. Both classes provide 1 hour for lunch, or you can bring a sack lunch.
Coffee and tea will be provided at a coffee bar in the lobby and several soft drink machines.
Certificates of completion will be given to participants. You need to provide JBCC copies of these when you renew your license. Do not lose these certificates.
Handouts will also be provided for both classes.
